"Tahno?"
Tahno looked up to see the avatar studying him with a raised eyebrow.
"What are you doing out so late?" she asked, with a hint of curiousity.
Tahno glared at Korra and sighed.
"Why's it your business, uh-vatar?"
She hated when he called her that and he smirked slightly when he saw her scowl.
He was sitting by Republic City's pond and was making tiny ripples in the water with a stick he had found earlier. He watched as a small fish surfaced and cautiously swam to the rings. When the first ripple touched it, the fish dove back under the coldness of the pond.
"Come on," Korra started and she dismounted Naga. "I can take you home if you'd like."
Tahno looked at his reflection in the clear water and found Korra's image behind his. He examined her and smiled to himself but it quickly vanished. Korra was beautiful, no doubt about that but he held a secret hate for her. She didn't get her bending taken away, so why did he?
"I don't have anywhere to go," Tahno managed to spit the words out rudely and Korra looked at his back side, wondering what to do.
Maybe he just needs to be alone... I can't help him anyway. Then again... Doesn't hurt to make him feel a bit better. Korra thought to herself and then rested her hand on Tahno's shoulder. Tahno slightly flinched at her touch and then relaxed. He couldn't help but enjoy the warmth her hand brought to him.
"How 'bout I stay here with you for the night?"
The once waterbender turned at Korra's question and his jaw partially dropped. "You'd... You'd do that?"
Korra half smiled and Tahno noticed it was also a shy smile. Even if it was eleven at night he could make out the avatar's features perfectly.
"Well, of course. Besides, doesn't look like you got anywhere else to go."
Tahno frowned and placed his hand over his heart, sarcastically gasping like her comment hurt him. "Uh-vatar, I'm offended."
Korra sat down next to him and smiled. "My bad, pretty boy."
He glanced at the beautiful girl who sat next to him and suddenly felt a warmth over pass him. He didn't know what caused it; maybe it was the fact that Korra had offered to stay the night with him, even when she didn't have to. That someone was actually caring for him.
Korra quietly whistled for Naga and the Polar bear-dog raised it's head from the other side of the pond with a fish in her mouth. They both chuckled as she strolled to Korra and layed down, consuming the fish quickly and Korra layed back on her.
Naga placed her head on her paws and shut her eyes, dozing off soudly. As if on cue, the beautiful girl patted the spot next to her and smiled sweetly at Tahno. "Might as well get comfortable."
Tahno half heartedly smiled and moved over to the spot next to Korra and layed back on Naga. As long as the dog didn't try to scare the crap out of him like the first time they all met, he'd be fine with sleeping there.
It seemed like ages ago.
He was suddenly snapped back into reality when Tahno felt Korra's head rest on his shoulder and she cuddled next to him. He was glad that she couldn't see how deeply red his cheeks were becoming in the quiet night.
He softly smiled as he watched Korra's eyes close and felt the steady rythm of her chest; rising and falling. He brushed the hair from her eyes and gently tucked it behind her ear. Suddenly, his arm was wrapped around Korra's waist and he drew her close to him.
Without meaning to, the avatar slowly awoke to Tahno's crystal, blue eyes, watching her carefully.
"Something I can help you with, sir?" and she smiled, watching Tahno's face go bright red.
"U-umm.. No, I-I was just heading to bed... And I thought you said something..." Tahno looked down and cursed himself under his breath.
Korra knew otherwise. She giggled softly and brought her hand to his cheek, gently turning his head so she could look at him.
"Mm-hmm. That's what they all say."
Tahno stared into Korra's dramatizing eyes and got lost in them. Everything about this girl was breath taking. Everything.
Slowly, he too, placed his hand on her cheek and stroked it softly. She smiled at his touch and moved closer to him.
Tahno couldn't resist any longer.
He leaned into Korra, taking her by the chin and brushed his lips onto hers. He got scared for a moment, fearing that she'd pull back but when she didn't he kept going. Korra returned the soft kiss and she placed both her hands on his waist, adjusting herself to where she had moved on top of Tahno and was sitting on his lap, wrapping her legs around his stomach. Tahno eagerly began to kiss her a bit harder, wrapping his arms around her back and drew her close to him. As if thinking to himself that she'd vanish any moment. He cherished her soft and gentle touch, the way her lips felt on his and he felt like he would burst with joy in any moment.
After 5 or so minutes, Korra pulled back and sighed. She had the biggest grin on her face, making her look down right adorale. Tahno returned the smile, not a smirk, but a sweet smile and he kissed her forehead. She rested her forehead on his and closed her eyes.
All that mattered were those moments. Those sweet, lovely moments and suddenly... the world didn't matter.
Tahno decided that as long as he had Korra... Things would be okay in the end.

A Tahnorra Story
"Come on Korra~Pull yourself together~!" The young Avatar said to herself as she leaned against the brick wall of the arena. It was the night of the Championships and obviously, she was nervous. Who wouldn't be nervous? Everything was going great until she found out who her team(The Fire Ferrets) were going againsts.
Tahno.

Tahnorra - Envy
When Amon had taken that one precious thing, he had taken everything Tahno had. He was suddenly cold as he sat alone against the wall of an empty gym. This whole place was just a memory. There was no purpose to this place anymore.
"Hey," he heard suddenly, and turned to see the uhvatar leaning against the door frame with her arms crossed. He looked at her once, gave a bit of a sneer, and turned away to stare at the darkened wall. It had little effect on her, and she spoke again. "I said 'hey.'"
"Did you get him for me?" Tahno asked, icy blue eyes locking on her. She only stared back at him. "Well, did you get him for me?"
They both knew wh

Korra smiled widely, shaking her head and trying to compose herself. It was taking everything in her not to just blurt out her news to her husband she was just so elated with it, and wanted to share it with him! Tahno noticed his wife's beaming face and raised an eyebrow at her. "What's up with you?" he asked.
Korra shrugged nonchalantly as if there really wasn't anything up. Oh, if only he knew. They were eating dinner at their kitchen table, just like any other normal night since they had married four months prior. Except for that evening, the Avatar was going to inform him of news that would change their lives fo
